At Least 1 Hurt in Collision at Phillips Street and Mapes Road Saturday
Perris, CA (June 13, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a suspected hit-and-run car crash that occurred in the area of Phillips Street and Mapes Road.
Our sources indicated a motorcycle rider collided head-on into a passenger vehicle at the Perris intersection. The make and model of the passenger car involved in the accident have not been revealed thus far.

Shortly after 9:05p.m., emergency teams arrived at the location and found a couple ejected from the motorbike. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the possible victims, and later confirmed at least one person suffered injuries as a result of the collision.
Meanwhile, the CHP dispatch mentioned a person involved in the crash fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Detectives continue to investigate at this time several factors surrounding the hit-and-run car crash inPerris.
