At Least 1 Hurt in Rear-End Collision at Lakeville Street and Caulfield Lane Friday
Petaluma, CA (October 8, 2021) – A suspected DUI car crash occurred in the area of Lakeville Street and Caulfield Lane, the Patch News reported.
Our sources indicated a 65-year-old man was driving in the streets of Petaluma on Friday. When the driver drove through the intersection of Lakeville and Caulfield, he reportedly crashed into the back of two vehicles. The make and model of the cars involved in the wreck remained unknown at this time.
Innocent Person Injured in DUI Car Crash in Petaluma, October 8
When medical personnel arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to all possible victims. The article published online confirmed at least one innocent person sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. Authorities continue to withhold the name of the victim pending confirmation.
Investigators later learned the 65-year-old motorist, a transient man, was intoxicated at the time of the collision. Police eventually arrested the suspect.
Detectives handling the case continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the DUI car crash in Petaluma.
