Major Injury Collision at Buttemere and Nielson Road Sunday
Phelan, CA (November 7, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred in the area of Buttemere and Nielson Road.
The California Highway Patrol group reported an off-roading vehicle collided with a sedan at the intersection in Phelan. Officials described the car involved in the wreck as a Toyota Camry.
Shortly after 4:30 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders rendered aid to the parties found in the Camry. The names and conditions of the occupants in the car remained unknown.

Meanwhile, the CHP dispatch mentioned a black Ford pickup truck responded to the crash site before police arrived. The pickup helped the rider of the off-roading vehicle. Per CHP log, the Ford rushed the injured rider to the hospital for treatment of major injuries. Additional details on the wreck have not been discussed thus far.
Investigators continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the car accident at Buttemere and Nielson Road.
