At Least 1 Injured in Car Accident on Interstate 110 Near 10 Freeway Thursday
Pico Union, CA (June 24, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run car crash occurred on Interstate 110 Thursday evening, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Officials said a white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck collided with another vehicle in the northbound side of I-110, also known as Harbor Freeway. Initial records indicated the accident took place near the connecting ramp onto Interstate 10 Freeway in Pico Union.
Shortly after 10:50 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the location and rendered aid to all possible victims. The evaluation revealed at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the collision.

The CHP dispatch later confirmed the second motorist involved in the wreck fled the scene before police arrived. Detectives continue to work at this time to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect.
