Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Pilot Hill Crash at Salmon Falls and Pond View
EL DORADO COUNTY, CA (April 30, 2022) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash at Salmon Falls and Pond View roads in Pilot Hill.
A California Highway Patrol dispatch said the accident took place late Saturday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 10:16 p.m.
The incident happened when a black BMW and the motorcycle rider collided in the Pilot Hill community of El Dorado County. For an unknown reason, the two crashed at the intersection of Salmon Falls and Pond View roads.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and soon found the motorcyclist down on the ground. The patient sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the wounded party to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the victim and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the car ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck. Officers forced the area of Salmon Falls and Pond View roads to shut down after the incident.
The cause of the Pilot Hill crash is still under investigation.
