At Least 1 Killed in Collision Near Bailey Road Onramp
Pittsburg, CA (April 4, 2023) – One person died following a traffic accident that occurred on State Route Highway 4, according to the California Highway Patrol group.
Earlier reports indicated two vehicles collided in the westbound side of SR-4 near Bailey Road onramp. CHP logged the case on April 4, Tuesday, around 11:22 p.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found a GMC Envoy overturned and with major damage. Authorities added a Toyota sedan was also found disabled at the crash site.
Deadly Car Accident on Highway 4 in Pittsburg
Responding medical personnel checked the conditions of all occupants in both vehicles involved in the wreck. Paramedics later sadly pronounced one person dead. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Several factors surrounding the horrible crash have not been discussed thus far. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly accident that happened on Highway 4 in Pittsburg.
