1 Killed in Placerville Crash at Missouri Flat Road and Life Way
PLACERVILLE, CA (May 27, 2021) – At least one was killed after a car crash at Missouri Flat Road and Life Way in Placerville.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic accident occurred on Thursday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 8:17 a.m.
Their report log said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Placerville. They crashed at the intersection of Missouri Flat Road and Life Way.
Car vs Truck Collision Near Highway 50
CHP described the cars involved as a red colored sedan and a gray truck with a trailer. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Highway 50.
Medical personnel confirmed that one person died as a result of the collision. The name of the deceased individual remains unreleased pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Missouri Flat Road and Life Way to close following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Placerville crash is still under investigation.
