Pedestrian Killed in Pomona Crash Near Mission Boulevard and Dudley Street
POMONA, CA (October 6, 2021) – A pedestrian was killed after a crash near Mission Boulevard and Dudley Street in Pomona.
According to The Daily Bulletin and My News LA, the fatal accident took place on Wednesday night. Officers reported the incident at about 8:45 p.m.
Pomona police said a vehicle struck a female pedestrian for an unknown reason. The driver hit her in the 1700 block of West Mission Boulevard near the intersection with South Dudley Street.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then found the 29-year-old woman lying on the ground as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon pronounced her dead at the scene. The name of the deceased victim remains unreleased pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the woman. The cause of the Pomona pedestrian collision is still under investigation.
Officers forced both lanes of Mission Boulevard to shut down between Curran Place and Oak Avenue following the crash.
