At Least 1 Hurt in Traffic Collision on Corona Freeway Saturday
Pomona, CA (November 23, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a suspected hit-and-run car crash that occurred on State Route 71, also known as Corona Freeway.
On November 20, a traffic accident between two vehicles took place on the highway in Pomona. Officials said another vehicle crashed into the back of the Toyota Matrix. The make and model of the other car involved in the wreck remained unknown.
The CHP logged the incident at about 9:06 p.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found at least one person with injuries. Paramedics rendered aid to the victim, whose name and age remained undisclosed.

Authorities mentioned the man driving the unidentified vehicle fled the scene. At this time, detectives continue to work to determine the name and location of the hit-and-run suspect.
