Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Pope Valley Crash on Butts Canyon Road
NAPA COUNTY, CA (November 13, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash on Butts Canyon Road in Pope Valley.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 1:28 p.m.
The motorcycle rider and another vehicle collided in the Pope Valley community of Napa County. The two crashed on Butts Canyon Road, just south of Snell Valley Road.

The motorcyclist went 30 feet down a ditch due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the rider hurt.
The victim sustained major injuries as a result of the incident. An air ambulance then took the patient to the Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the other driver ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck.
Officers forced a stretch of Butts Canyon Road to shut down near Snell Valley after the collision. The cause of the Pope Valley crash is still under investigation.
