3 Injured in Porter Ranch Crash on 118 Freeway and Tampa Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (June 2, 2021) – A car crash left three people injured on the 118 Freeway and Tampa Avenue in the Porter Ranch neighborhood.
The Los Angeles Fire Department received a call about the accident on Wednesday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 10:52 p.m.
An online post by LAFD wrote that four vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Porter Ranch. They crashed in the area of 118 Freeway and Tampa Avenue.
2 Hospitalized After Multi-Car Collision
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and then found three patients who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon took two of them to a hospital and listed them in moderate to serious condition. The third individual declined transport.
The names of the wounded parties and the extent of the injuries they sustained were not released. Meanwhile, officials forced a portion of 118 Freeway and Tampa to shut down following the wreck.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Porter Ranch crash.
