1 Killed in Porter Ranch Crash on 118 Freeway Near Reseda Boulevard
LOS ANGELES, CA (June 9, 2022) – A car crash killed at least one person on the 118 Freeway near Reseda Boulevard in Porter Ranch.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic accident took place late Thursday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 11:42 p.m.
CHP said four vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the Porter Ranch neighborhood. They crashed on the westbound 118 Freeway near the Reseda Boulevard on-ramp.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
At least one of the cars involved rolled over upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel confirmed that one individual died as a result of the collision. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the westbound lanes of the 118 Freeway to shut down following the wreck The cause of the fatal Porter Ranch crash is still under investigation.
