2 Injured in Porterville Crash at Westwood Street and Northgrand Avenue
PORTERVILLE, CA (November 16, 2021) – Two were hospitalized after a car crash at Westwood Street and Northgrand Avenue in Porterville.
A California Highway Patrol dispatch said the wreck took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the accident on November 13 at about 4:54 p.m.
The incident log indicated that two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in West Porterville. They crashed at the intersection of North Westwood Street and Northgrand Avenue.
2 Vehicles Collide
One of the cars involved then slammed into a pole nearby. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Highway 65.
Medical personnel found two people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. They then took both patients to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Westwood and Northgrand to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Porterville crash is still under investigation.
