2 Hospitalized After Collision on South Avenue
Corning, CA (June 4, 2022) – Two Corning residents–Rachel Ann, and David Gallow both sustained injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on South Avenue.
According to Red Bluff Daily News, 36-year-old Ann was behind the wheel of a 2018 Dodge Ram heading east on South Avenue. Earlier reports indicated Ann failed to slow down as she approached another car stopped in front of her.
The Dodge crashed into an eastbound 2012 Mercedes. Officials said the collision took place early Thursday in Corning.
Shortly after 2:40 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. They found the two drivers suffering in injuries. The article published online mentioned Rachel Ann complained of pain in her ankle and foot. Meanwhile, David Gallow complained of patin in his chest and neck. Paramedics transported the two parties to St. Elizabeth Community Hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
Detectives handling the case continue to gather several information about the crash. Further investigation is ongoing to determine the precise cause of the car accident on South Avenue in Corning.
