1 Injured in Rackerby Crash on Lague Road Near La Porte

RACKERBY, CA (October 8, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a car crash on Lague Road near La Porte Road in Rackerby.

The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident on Thursday morning. Officers reported the wreck on October 7 shortly after 8 a.m.

According to CHP, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Rackerby. They crashed at 16416 Lague Road, just north of La Porte Road.

2 Vehicles Collide

Officials described one of the cars involved as a black Dodge Dakota pickup truck. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the post office.

Medical personnel found 56-year-old man who complained of pain to his check and neck as a result of the collision. They then took him to the Adventist Health and Rideout for treatment of minor injuries.

The report did not disclose the name of the wounded patient and his condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced both lanes of Lague Road to shut down following the wreck.

The cause of the Rackerby crash is still under investigation.
