Ramon Lujan, 28, Fatal Victim in Collision on Highway 99 Near Teilman Avenue Sunday
Fresno, CA (August 1, 2021) – Ramon Lujan, a 28-year-old man, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Highway 99 early Sunday.
According to Your Central Valley News, a vehicle struck a male party in the northbound side of Highway 99 just north of Teilman Avenue. The make and model of the automobile involved in the collision remained unknown at this time.
Preliminary investigation revealed the pedestrian was seen running westbound from the right shoulder of the highway towards the center divider. In the process, an oncoming SUV hit Ramon Lujan.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident in Fresno County, August 1
Emergency teams arrived at the crash site shortly after 12:30 a.m. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the pedestrian but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died.
Meanwhile, information on the driver involved in the unfortunate event remained undisclosed. Further investigation on the case is underway.
