At Least 1 Killed in Collision on Highway 78 Tuesday
Ramona, CA (September 14, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a fatal car crash that occurred on State Route Highway 78.
Initial records indicated a red pickup truck rolled over on SR-78, also known as Julian Road. The red pickup truck ended up flipped on its roof, officials said.

Shortly after 8:15 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Medical personnel reportedly checked the conditions of all parties found at the scene. After the evaluation, officials confirmed at least one person sadly died as a result of the car crash. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Several factors surrounding the fatal car crash in Ramona have not been discussed thus far. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine the precise circumstances that led to the unfortunate event.
