Ramona crash Otero Way
1 Killed, 1 Injured in Ramona Crash on Otero Way Near Arena Drive
RAMONA, CA (June 13, 2021) – A car crash killed one person and injured another on Otero Way in Ramona.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic wreck took place on Sunday evening. Officers reported the accident at about 7:20 p.m.
The incident happened when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Ramona. CHP said they crashed at 23904 Otero Way near the corner of Arena Drive.
2 Vehicles Collide in Ramona
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and then confirmed that one individual died as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel provided treatment to another party who sustained unspecified injuries upon impact. The names of the deceased and wounded victims have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, CHP soon forced a portion of Otero Way to shut down following the Ramona crash. The cause of the fatal collision is still under investigation.
