Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Ramona Crash Near Main Street and 3rd Street

RAMONA. CA (November 27, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash near Main Street and 3rd Street in Ramona.

The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place on Saturday morning. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 10:31 a.m.

According to CHP, the motorcycle rider and a Chevrolet Tahoe collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed near the intersection of Main Street and 3rd Street in Ramona.

Motorcycle and Car Collide

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene near 2nd Street. They found the motorcyclist who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel then rushed the patient to the Palomar Medical Center Escondido for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.

Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the SUV ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck. Officers forced the area of Main Street and 3rd Street to shut down after the collision.

The cause of the Ramona crash is still under investigation.
