Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Red Bluff Crash at Walnut Street and Baker Road
RED BLUFF, CA (May 18, 2022) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash at Walnut Street and Baker Road in Red Bluff.
According to an article published by the KYMKEMP, the accident took place on Wednesday morning. Officers reported the wreck at around 9:39 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol said the rider of a black motorcycle and a grayish-blue GMC pickup truck collided in Red Bluff.
The two crashed for an unknown reason at the intersection of Walnut Street and Baker Road. The rear axle became dislodged from the GMC upon impact.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the motorcyclist who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment. The report did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the car ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck. Officers forced the area of Walnut and Baker to shut down after the incident.
The cause of the Red Bluff crash is still under investigation.
