Passenger Injured After Chase Ends in Collision Near Twin View Boulevard Friday
Redding, CA (March 13, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred in the area of Market Street and Twin View Boulevard.
According to KRCR News, police attempted to stop a vehicle in North Redding Friday evening. The article published online mentioned the driver failed to slow down, and sped off. For this reason, officers launched a pursuit.

Responding medical personnel found a passenger partially trapped in the wreckage. Firefighters extricated the victim, then transported them to Mercy Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. The name and age of the injured passenger remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Hit-and-Run Suspect Arrested After Car Accident on Market Street in Redding, March 11
Officers later found the driver of the car hiding in a nearby bush. Police arrested the suspect for his original warrants; felony evading; and hit-and-run resulting in injury.
