
Pedestrian Injured in Redding Crash at Hartnell and Heather
REDDING, CA (March 24, 2023) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after a crash at Hartnell Avenue and Heather Lane in Redding.
According to an article published by the Action News Now, the accident took place early Wednesday. Officers reported the collision on March 22 at about 12:45 a.m.
Redding police said for an unknown reason, a vehicle struck a female pedestrian in the city. The driver hit her at the intersection of Hartnell Avenue and Heather Lane.
Woman Hit by Car
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the woman who ended up hurt as a result of the incident.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and her condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police did not mention if the motorist stopped or stayed at the site following the accident. Officers forced the area of Hartnell and Heather to shut down after the collision.
The cause of the Redding pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
