1 Seriously Injured in Reilly Heights Crash at Highway 128 and Clark Road
MENDOCINO COUNTY, CA (April 14, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at Highway 128 and Clark Road in Reilly Heights.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 3:30 p.m.
Their report log said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed at the intersection of Highway 128 and Clark Road in Reilly Heights.
Car Collision Near Philo in Mendocino County
CHP described the cars involved as a black Honda Ridgeline and a black BMW X5. Both sustained major front-end damage upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near the area of Philo. They attended to a total of six patients who possibly ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
An air ambulance then took at least one victim to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. Officials did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the intersection to shut down following the Reilly Heights crash. Authorities are still determining the cause of the wreck.
