Motorcycle Passenger Injured in Traffic Collision at Wilson Avenue and Helena Street Friday
Ridgecrest, CA (May 20, 2021) – Richard McQuade and his passenger suffered injuries following a motorcycle accident in the area of Wilson Avenue and Helena Street, the KGET News reported.
On May 14, Friday, Richard McQuade was driving a motorcycle with a passenger traveling in Ridgecrest. The motorcyclists crashed at intersection of Wilson and Helena around 6 p.m.
The article published online indicated the force from the impact ejected the passenger. Responding medical personnel found the passenger with significant injuries. Due to the serious condition of the victim, a helicopter transported the man to Ridgecrest Regional Hospital for treatment. Authorities mentioned the patient was later transferred to another hospital.

Meanwhile, investigators reportedly found in the possession of Richard McQuade a methamphetamine and controlled substance paraphernalia. Police then arrested and booked the man at the Central Receiving Facility (CRF) in Bakersfield for multiple charges.
Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
