3 Children Hospitalized After Collision on Euclid Avenue Monday
Ontario, CA (May 11, 2021) – Three children suffered injuries following a car accident triggered by 18-year-old Ricky Alvarez, the Daily Bulletin reported.
On May 10, Monday, a chase involving Ricky Alvarez began at about 1:15 a.m. in Rancho Cucamonga. Our sources indicated deputies tried to pull over Alvarez on suspicion of committing traffic violations. However, the man failed to yield and drove approximately six miles through the city.
When the pursuit reached Ontario, Ricky Alvarez careened off the roadway and crashed into a tree. The incident took place along Euclid Avenue.
First responders found at the scene three children inside the wreckage. Paramedics rendered aid to the juveniles, then transferred them to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.

Meanwhile, authorities confirmed Ricky Alvarez fled the scene on foot. Officials apprehended the hit-and-run suspect after he turned up at a hospital for treatment of a broken finger.
According to the article published online, police booked the suspect into jail on suspicion of felony evading; child cruelty with injury; kidnapping and false imprisonment.
Further investigation on the case is underway.
