1 Injured in Ridgecrest Crash at China Lake Boulevard and Mahan Street
RIDGECREST, CA (May 1, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a car crash at China Lake Boulevard and Mahan Street in Ridgecrest.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team received a call about the accident on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on April 30 shortly before 5 p.m.
According to CHP, a gray Ford Ranger pickup and a semi-truck collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed at the intersection of South China Lake Boulevard and South Mahan Street in Ridgecrest.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene. They found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the wreck.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Ridgecrest Regional Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP closed the intersection of China Lake and Mahan following the crash. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the wreck.
