1 Injured in Ripon Crash on Highway 99 Near Milgeo Avenue
RIPON, CA (January 3, 2022) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash on Highway 99 near Milgeo Avenue in Ripon.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the wreck took place late Sunday morning. Officers reported the accident at about 11:26 a.m.
The incident happened on January 2 when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Ripon. They crashed on northbound Highway 99, just south the Milgeo Avenue off-ramp.
2 Vehicles Collide
CHP described one of the cars involved as a Honda SUV. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found two people hurt.
Both patients sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then took them to the Doctors Hospital of Manteca for treatment.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, the cause of the Ripon crash is still under investigation.
CHP forced the northbound lanes of Highway 99 to shut down near Milgeo following the wreck.
