At Least 1 Hurt After Traffic Collision Near University Avenue Friday

Riverside, CA (April 3, 2021) – A car and truck accident that occurred on Interstate 215 Freeway in Riverside Friday morning.

According to My News LA, a tractor-trailer struck two vehicles on the northbound lanes of I-215 near University Avenue. The make and model of the two cars involved in the collision remained undisclosed.

The news article indicated the big rig pulled over following the crash. However, the two passenger vehicles were left in the roadway and blocked at least two lanes.

Shortly after 8:45 a.m., medical personnel arrived at the site and rendered aid to possible victims. Our sources confirmed one person suffered injuries as a result of the wreck. The name of the injured party, and the extent of their trauma have not been revealed thus far.

Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate at this time several factors surrounding the car accident on 215 Freeway in Riverside.
