Vehicle Strikes, Hit Pedestrian on Pomona (60) Freeway Tuesday
Riverside, CA (June 23, 2021) – A pedestrian died following a traffic accident that occurred on Interstate 60, also known as Pomona Freeway, Tuesday evening.
According to My News LA, a male party darted into traffic for an unknown reason in Riverside. The catastrophic incident took place on the eastbound lanes of Pomona (60) Freeway at Orange Street.

Officials said a passing vehicle struck the man walking on the busy freeway. The collision resulted in serious injuries to the pedestrian. Shortly after 11:15 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the site and rendered aid to the victim. The man sadly succumbed to his injuries despite life-saving measures performed by paramedics.
Police continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate several factors surrounding the deadly pedestrian accident on Pomona (60) Freeway.
