At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on Riverside Freeway Thursday
Riverside, CA (November 12, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a traffic crash that occurred on State Route 91, also known as Riverside Freeway, Thursday afternoon.
Initial records indicated multiple vehicles collided on the westbound lanes of the freeway in Riverside. Officials said the accident took place near La Sierra Avenue.
The CHP logged the case at about 3:07 p.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found four automobiles disabled on SR-91. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all possible victims in the collision. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person suffered injuries as a result of the wreck.

Authorities later mentioned a fifth automobile was involved in the accident. The driver of that car drove away following the crash. At this time, detectives continue to work to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect.
