Robert Alongino Holmes, 57, Dies at Hospital After Car Accident at Citrus and Santa Ana Avenue Sunday
Fontana, CA (June 6, 2021) – Robert Alongino Holmes, a 57-year-old man, suffered fatal injuries following a traffic collision in the area of Citrus and Santa Ana Avenue.
On Sunday, at approximately 12:45 p.m., a car accident took place at the Fontana intersection. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department reported Robert Holmes was behind the wheel of a vehicle involved in the wreck.
Deadly Car Crash in Fontana, June 6
Medical personnel responded to the crash site and rendered aid to the possible victims. Due to the serious injuries of Robert Holmes, paramedics rushed him to Kaiser Foundation Hospital Fontana.
The 57-year-old man succumbed to his injuries and died in the emergency department.
Additional details on the deadly car crash in Fontana remained unclear. Given that, investigators handling the case continue to work to determine the precise cause of the deadly accident.
