1 Dead, 1 Hospitalized After Collision Near Fort Tejon Road
Grapevine, CA (February 9, 2022) – Robert Steven Meza, a 27-year-old man, died following a traffic accident that occurred on Interstate 5 on January 14.
The KGET published an article online reporting Meza was behind the wheel of a vehicle traveling north on the freeway in Grapevine. When the motorist approached the area near Fort Tejon Road, another car hit Meza. The horrible crash took place at about 3:45 a.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found one driver unconscious. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. The Kern County Sheriff’s Office identified the deceased as Robert Steven Meza.
Authorities mentioned the other driver sustained moderate to major injuries in the collision. Additional details on the injured party remained undisclosed.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the unfortunate event in Grapevine.
