Fatal Collision Near Cherry Avenue
Fontana, CA (April 28, 2022) – Robert Mullins, a 28-year-old man, died following a traffic accident that occurred on the Interstate 10 Freeway.
According to the Fontana Herald News, Mullins was riding a motorbike traveling on the freeway in Fontana. Earlier reports indicated the motorcyclist crashed for an unknown reason in the westbound side of I-10, just west of the Cherry Avenue crossover.
The catastrophic incident took place on April 24, Sunday.

Shortly after 4:29 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the site. First responders found the rider with serious injuries. Despite life-saving measures performed by paramedics, the motorcyclist sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away around 4:44 a.m. The San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner’s Division identified the deceased as Robert Mullins, of Fontana.
No immediate information was available on the other parties involved in the unfortunate event. Detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the deadly accident on 10 Freeway.
