Teenager Injured in Hit-and-Run Collision at Pacific and Rocklin
Rocklin, CA (April 14, 2022) – A 14-year-old boy suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Pacific Street and Rocklin Road.
According to the Gold Country Media, the teenager and his friend were riding a bicycles traveling in the streets of Rocklin. When the cyclists approached the intersection at Pacific and Rocklin, a vehicle struck the 14-year-old boy.

Earlier reports indicated the motorist dragged the cyclist underneath the car. Given that, our sources confirmed the teenager sustained serious injuries in the collision. Authorities said the patient was rushed to the emergency room with a perforated stomach; two broken ribs; a bruised spleen; a bruised pancreas; a large wound on his left elbow; a dislocated knee; severe road rash all over his body, and his teeth went through his gums.
The accident took place on April 8 around 8:18 p.m.
The article published online mentioned the teenager remained at the hospital for further treatment and surgeries.
Meanwhile, officers said the driver involved in the crash fled the scene. Police eventually identified the hit-and-run suspect, but no arrests have been made yet. Further investigation is ongoing on the collision at Pacific Street and Rocklin Road.
