Pedestrian Hit and Injured by Vehicle Near Highway 4 Friday
Rodeo, CA (March 11, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run collision that occurred on Interstate 80, also known as Dwight D. Eisenhower Highway.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a gray-colored sports car struck a pedestrian in the eastbound side of the freeway in Rodeo. Our sources indicated the accident took place near Sate Route 4, also known as John Muir Parkway.
Shortly after 10:20 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the site. First responders found a woman with injuries. At this time, the name of the victim and their condition remained undisclosed.

Police said the vehicle involved in the collision was left abandoned at the scene. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Investigators continue to work to determine several unclear factors surrounding the pedestrian accident on Interstate 80 in Rodeo.
