 Roger Williamson Fatal Burbank Pedestrian Accident at Empire Center

Man, 71, Killed in Burbank Parking Lot Crash is Identified

BURBANK, Calif. (April 23, 2024) – Roger Williamson, 71, of Arleta, was struck and killed Sunday in the parking lot of the Empire Center in Burbank.

The fatal collision occurred at around 1:45 p.m. on April 21st, parking lot in the 200 block of North Third Street, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.

The Burbank Police Department responded and located the injured man where he was struck down near the Krispy Kreme doughnut shop and a Sephora store, according to CBS News.

Paramedics responded to help Roger Williamson, but he unfortunately died at the scene, police said.

Meanwhile, the driver who hit the victim stopped and cooperated with investigators.

It’s unknown at this time what led up to the crash, but authorities do not suspect drugs or alcohol were factors, police said.
