2 Riders Injured in Rolando Motorcycle Crash on El Cajon Boulevard
SAN DIEGO, CA (June 17, 2021) – Two riders were injured after a motorcycle crash on El Cajon Boulevard in the Rolando neighborhood.
According to an article published by The San Diego Union-Tribune, the accident occurred on Wednesday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 10:10 p.m.
The incident happened on June 16 when two people were riding a 2006 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle east on El Cajon Boulevard in Rolando. At the same time, a 2012 Honda Accord was going west.
San Diego police said the Honda then made a left turn onto southbound Seminole Drive. In the process, the motorcycle collided with the Accord.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and then found the two riders of the bike hurt as a result of the collision.
The operator of the motorcycle, a 40-year-old man, complained of pain to his right hand and right leg. His passenger, a 32-year-old woman, sustained serious injuries upon impact.
Medical personnel rushed her to a hospital for treatment of a fractured pelvis. Officials did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the 25-year-old man driving the car did not sustain any wound following the wreck. Officers forced a portion of El Cajon Boulevard to close after the crash.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Rolando collision.
