Rosemead, CA (May 11, 2022) – Two Two Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputies suffered injuries following a car crash that occurred on San Gabriel Boulevard.

According to an article published online by KTLA News, a sedan rear-ended the sheriff’s cruiser in front of the Royal Inn Motel. Earlier reports indicated the collision took place in the 2600 block of San Gabriel Boulevard.

The force from the impact resulted in significant damage to both the patrol vehicle and the civilian car.

Emergency crews arrived at the crash site shortly after 9 p.m. Responding paramedics checked the conditions of all the parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed two Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputies sustained injuries in the collision. Medical personnel transported the two victims to USC Medical Center for treatment and further evaluation.

Officials added the driver of the other car also suffered injuries as a result of the accident. Personal information on the injured parties remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
