1 Killed in Roseville Crash on Interstate 80 at Taylor Road
ROSEVILLE, CA (February 5, 2022) – At least one was after a car crash on the Interstate 80 and Taylor Road in Roseville.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic accident took place early Saturday. Officers reported the wreck at about 12:24 a.m.
The incident began when a Honda Civic was driving recklessly on the westbound Interstate 80 in Roseville. In the process, the reckless driver then struck another vehicle.
Reckless Driver Hits Another Car
CHP said the cars crashed at the Taylor Road on-ramp, under the Roseville Parkway. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
They confirmed that one person died as a result of the collision. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the westbound lanes of the Interstate 80 to shut down near Taylor following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Roseville crash is still under investigation.
