5 Injured in Rubidoux Crash at Mission Boulevard and Wallace Street
RUBIDOUX, CA (January 4, 2021) – Several were hospitalized after a car crash at Mission Boulevard and Wallace Street in Rubidoux.
The Riverside County Fire Department said the accident took place on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 12:14 p.m.
The incident happened when two cars collided for an unknown reason in Rubidoux. They crashed at the intersection of Mission Boulevard and Wallace Street.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then extricated two trapped occupants from each vehicle. A total of five people ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon took all five patients to area hospitals for treatment. One of them sustained serious injuries while another suffered moderate injuries.
The other three patients survived with minor wounds upon impact. The report did not disclose their names and condition at this time.
Meanwhile, Cal Fire forced the area of Mission Boulevard and Wallace Street to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Rubidoux crash is still under investigation.
