2-Vehicle Collision on City Creek Road
RUNNING SPRINGS, Calif. (May 9, 2024) — A head-on crash in Running Springs happened Thursday morning on City Creek Road also known as State Route Highway 330.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at a 90-degree curve in the roadway at around 12:45 p.m. on May 9th, near the Old City Creek Road turn off, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of an SUV and a flatbed box truck were involved. There was also a dog in one of the cars, but it’s unknown if it was hurt at this time.
A bystander called 911 to report and stated his dad went to help those involved in the crash and told dispatch operators “it is bad,” the report said.
Paramedics responded to the scene and transported at least two people to a hospital.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on City Creek Road in Running Springs.
