Hideaway Properties Owners, Associate Among 6 Killed in Plane Crash
TRUCKEE, Calif. (July 29, 2021) — Ryan Thomas and Christine Thomas, owners of Hideaway Properties in La Quinta, were among six people who died Monday when a business jet crashed near a golf course in Truckee, California.
Also, Kevin Kvarnlov, an associate at the real estate agency, and Bret Ebaugh, the pilot of the private jet, were killed in the fiery crash as the plane attempted to land at the Truckee-Tahoe Airport. No word yet on the identification of the other two people who died in the collision.
The Bombardier CL 600 twin-engine jet crash killed all six people aboard the plane, according to the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office confirmed on Wednesday.
The aircraft crash landed about 1:18 p.m. on July 26th in a forest near the Ponderosa Golf Course in Truckee along Reynolds Way, the Federal Aviation Administration said.
The National Transportation Safety Board confirmed the flight originated from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Ryan Thomas and Christine Thomas owned Hideaway Properties in La Quinta. Kevin Kvarnlov, an associate and membership associate at the real estate agency, was with them on the private jet.
Meanwhile, the NTSB said Wednesday that investigators were on the scene of the crash piecing together evidence and attempting to determine the cause of the plane crash.
Certainly, they will seek to find out if there were any mechanical issues or weather-related problems.
