1 Hospitalized After Collision on West Side (5) Freeway Monday
Sacramento, CA (August 30, 2021) – A car crash that occurred on the Interstate 5 Freeway left at least one person with injuries, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Our sources indicated a vehicle overturned while traveling south on West Side (5) Freeway. The collision took place in the area near Twin Cities Road offramp.
Shortly after 12:02 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the crash site. First responders found one person partially trapped in the wreckage. Firefighters at the scene worked extensively to pull out the victims.
Minor Injury Car Crash in Sacramento, August 30
The CHP log mentioned paramedics transported the injured party to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Additional details on the patient have not been discussed thus far.
At this time, investigators continue to work to determine the precise cause of the car crash on Interstate 5 at Twin Cities Road in Sacramento.
