1 Badly Injured in Sacramento County Crash at Scott and White Rock Roads
SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA (May 14, 2021) – One was badly injured after a car crash at Scott Road and White Rock Road in Sacramento County.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 4:42 p.m.
Their report log said two vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason in Sacramento County. They crashed at the intersection of Scott and White Rock roads.
One of the cars involved then rolled over upon impact. CHP described the vehicles as a silver Mazda sedan and a Ford F-450 pickup truck.
Head-On Collision Near Folsom
The Mazda obtained major front-end damage and lost its front wheel following the incident. Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene near Folsom.
They found one person hurt as a result of the collision. Medical personnel took the patient to the UC Davis Medical Center for treatment of lacerations and moderate injuries.
Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the intersection of Scott and White Rock to shut down following the wreck.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Sacramento County crash.
