1 Injured in Sacramento County Hit-and-Run Crash on Isleton Road
SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA (July 16, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash on Isleton Road in Sacramento County.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the wreck took place on Friday evening. Officers reported the collision at about 6:19 p.m.
CHP said at least two vehicles collided for an unknown reason near the areas of Isleton and Walnut Grove. They crashed at 14174 Isleton Road in front of the Ko-Ket Riverfront Bar and Grill restaurant.

The incident log described one of the cars involved as a gold 1997 Nissan Pathfinder SUV. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the bridge.
They found one person who complained of pain as a result of the wreck. Medical personnel then took the patient to the Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
Officials did not release the name of the wounded victim and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that a driver did not stop to render aid and fled southbound toward Antioch bridge.
Officers forced a portion of Isleton Road to shut down following the hit-and-run crash. Authorities are still investigating the collision.
