Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Sacramento County Crash at Watt Avenue and U Street

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA (June 13, 2022) – A crash seriously injured a motorcyclist at Watt Avenue and U Street in Sacramento County.

According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Monday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 6:29 p.m.

CHP said the motorcycle rider and a Toyota Camry collided for an unknown reason in Sacramento County. The two crashed at the intersection of Watt Avenue and U Street.

Motorcycle and Car Collide

The Toyota obtained moderate front-end damage upon impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the areas of Antelope and North Highlands.

Medical personnel found the motorcyclist who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the patient to a hospital for treatment.

The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the other driver ended up hurt or if they stopped following the incident.

Officers forced the area of Watt Avenue and U Street to shut down after the wreck. The cause of the Sacramento County crash is still under investigation.
