Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Sacramento County Crash Old Placerville at Bradshaw
SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA (March 2, 2022) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash near Old Placerville and Bradshaw roads in Sacramento County.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Wednesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 4:18 p.m.
CHP said a vehicle and the motorcycle rider collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed on westbound Old Placerville Road just east of Bradshaw Road.
Motorcycle and Vehicle Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Highway 50. They found the motorcyclist who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the other driver ended up hurt or if they stopped following the incident. Officers forced the area of Old Placerville and Bradshaw roads to shut down after the wreck.
The cause of the Sacramento County crash is still under investigation.
