3-Vehicle Crash on the I-5 Freeway at Sutterville Road
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Dec. 9, 2021) — A multi-vehicle Sacramento crash involving a UPS truck happened Thursday morning on the Interstate 5 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The 3-vehicle collision happened about 5:28 a.m. on Dec. 9th just north of Sutterville Road, the CHP report said. A UPS semi-truck with double trailers collided with two other smaller vehicles due to unknown circumstances.

The Sacramento crash happened when one of the vehicles reportedly spun out, collided with another motorist and then crashed hard into a wall on the side of the Interstate 5 freeway.
The Sacramento Fire Department responded and transported at least one person with a shoulder injury to Kaiser South Sacramento. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries reported.
Investigators seek to determine fault for the Sacramento crash on the Interstate 5 Freeway.
