Vehicle Strikes, Kills Pedestrian at Fruitridge Road and Watt Avenue Tuesday
Sacramento, CA (June 29, 2021) – A pedestrian died following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Fruitridge Road and South Watt Avenue Tuesday afternoon.
The ABC10 News reported a vehicle struck a female party at the intersection in South Sacramento. Per article published online, the horrible crash took place at about 4:45 p.m.

When emergency crews arrived at the accident scene, they found the woman lying on the ground. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the pedestrian, but she sadly succumbed to her injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Authorities mentioned the driver sustained minor injuries from the collision. An ambulance reportedly transported the motorist to the hospital for treatment.
At this time, investigators continue to work to determine the precise circumstances that led to the deadly pedestrian accident at Fruitridge Road and Watt Avenue.
