Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Collision Near Watt Avenue
Sacramento, CA (September 22, 2022) – A pedestrian died following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on Fruitridge Road.
According to CBS News, a vehicle struck a male party near S. Watt Avenue in Sacramento. Earlier reports indicated the collision took place early Monday morning. Meanwhile, the make and model of the car involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.

Emergency crews arrived at the crash site shortly after 3:#0 a.m. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the pedestrian found suffering in serious injuries. Despite life-saving measures, the man sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
The article published online mentioned the driver involved in the catastrophic incident fled the scene. Detectives continue to gather information to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect.
